Nilsson Construction has built over 500 homes and apartments in Henderson and Buncombe counties. During the past 13 years the company has completed over 100 homes in Champion Hills, Hendersonville. In 2001 Nilsson built a new Grill Room, a Dining Room Addition, a Sales Office and a Fitness Center at the Champion Hills Club. In 2004, a fellowship hall and narthex addition to the Piney Mountain Methodist Church in Candler, NC, were completed.

In 2007, a professional office building in Black Mountain was completed utilizing "green" construction practices for a LEED certification.
